Character Frequency: Polish (Polska)
Below you can see a table showing the frequencies of letters, as they occur in the Polish language. This list was created with the Unicode Counter, which is integrated in the WordCreator. Basis of this list were some Polish texts with together 2.020.506 characters (309.880 words), 1.635.329 characters were used for the counting. The texts consist of a good mix of different literary genres. Of course, if other texts were used as a basis, the result would be slightly different.
The list may only be used together with the publishing of the internet adress stefantrost.de and the prior consent of Stefan Trost (contact).
The left list is sorted according to the letters, the right list in accordance with the frequency of the letters. Accordingly, the letters I, E und A are the most common letters in the Polish language.

The Polish Alphabet knows 32 characters. It consists of all basic letters from the Latin Alphabet except Q, V and X and is completed with the letters Ą, Ć, Ę, Ł, Ń, Ó, Ś, Ź and Ż.
