Menu
On this page you will find an overview of all menu items of the ImageResizer with an explanation of the respective function. An explanation of the functions of other program parts of the ImageResizer can be found in the function overview.
- File > Open Images: With this function you can open single files with the open dialog and these files will be added to the file list.
- File > Open Folder with Images: With this function you can open a complete folder to add the images to the file list.
- File > Delete selected Images from List: Deletes all images from the list which are currently selected.
- File > Delete all Images from List: Deletes the full image list independent from selections, so that you can add new files.
- File > Convert and Save: This function is the same like the button "Save Images" in the main window. So, the images currently in the list will be resized and saved according to the saving options.
- File > Only rename Files: Opens the File Renamer, which is explained on the separate page File Renamer. With this tool, you can change the names of a number of files.
- File > Close: Exits the application.
- Settings > Options: Opens the options. These are explained in the section Options on this page.
- Settings > Filter for Search in Folders: If you are searching for files in folders, only image files will be added. In this menu, you can select which file formats should be searched for. In addition, you can select whether the sub directories should be included when searching.
- Settings > Shortcuts with Files and Folders: Opens the dialog in which you can create shortcuts to configuration files or other arbitrary files with the Image Resizer. This menu is explained on the separate page Shortcuts.
- Settings > Language: Here you can change the language of the tool.
- Configuration > Save current Configuration: Saves the current configuration in a file with the extension .rkg, so that you can load the settings again.
- Configuration > Load Configuration: Loads a configuration, you have saved, so that you can retain an old configuration of settings.
- Configuration > Save current Configuration as Start Configuration: Saves the current configuration in the file auto.rkg. This file will be automatically loaded when starting the program, so that you can select your individual start configuration.
- Configuration > Save Configuration on Exit: If this function is activated, all current settings will be saved in the file auto.rkg when closing the application, so that the program starts with this settings at the next start.
- Configuration > Reset all Settings: Resets all settings to the status after downloading the tool.
- Configuration > Load Start Configuration: Loads the start configuration from the file auto.rkg, when this file exists.
- Configuration > File Names: If there are configuration files in the folder of the application, these files will be displayed in the menu, too. So, you can access the configurations easily.
- Other Software: Here some other tools are introduced and the corresponding Internet pages can be visited.
- Help and Information: In this menu, you can read some further information as well as a help section and information regarding your licence and other products.
