Installation

On this page you will learn everything about downloading, installing and uninstalling Sudoku.

Supported Operating Systems

Sudoku is currently available for the Windows operating system. The support of further operating systems is planned.

Download

First, download the program from the download page. The program file is packed into a ZIP archive, which you should usually be able to unpack with your computer without additional software.

If you can not open the archive, we recommend the free program 7-Zip, which can handle ZIP files as well as many other archive formats. You can download 7-Zip for free from the page 7-zip.org. We recommend unpacking the program file before using Sudoku and not starting the program from the ZIP archive.

Installation on Windows

After unzipping the program file, you can already use Sudoku. Because Sudoku is a portable program, an installation is not required. Just click on the program file to start Sudoku.

You can save the program file in any folder on your computer, the program even runs from a USB stick or an external hard disk. If you want to use multiple versions of Sudoku in parallel (for example, with different configurations), you can simply copy each version of the program to a different folder.

If you still want to create a shortcut to the application, just right-click on the program file and then select "Create Shortcut" from the context menu . You can move this shortcut to any location on your computer and use it to access Sudoku from there.

Uninstallation

Since Sudoku is a portable program, Sudoku does not dig deep into your operating system. Therefore, it is usually sufficient to simply delete the program file to completely remove the entire installation of the program from your computer.
